Second Wave of Industry Leaders Join Symplicity’s Partner Program

Arlington, VA – November 20, 2017 – Symplicity, the leading employability platform serving students, alumni and employers, today announced five new partners to its partner program.

Solutions from the companies Eventus, JobKred, Mentat, Suitable, and The Fairs App have joined the Symplicity Partner Program. These partners’ capabilities complement Symplicity’s solutions, providing an overall unified and seamless experience for students. The benefits of collaborating with Symplicity, the industry leader in career services management software – with the largest market share and largest client base – are clear to companies looking to maximize their exposure and reach the greatest number of job-seekers.

“Our new partnerships provide our clients with unparalleled access to industry-leading tools and the capabilities they need to prepare students for success in their personal and professional lives beyond graduation,” says Matthew Small, Symplicity President and CEO.

Access to Leading Career Resources Through a Single Sign-on

Eventus is a mobile app platform that gives career services teams an easy way to set up data-driven apps for their various initiatives. Trusted by clients around the world, Eventus has been used to create apps for functions such as career fairs, consortiums, and networking events. Eventus complements these apps with powerful analytics. Metrics such as download rates, feature usage, and employer interest can be tracked within the app. This, in turn, allows career services teams to view how students are interacting with their mobile content and helps teams adapt their content accordingly.

"With this partnership, Symplicity’s users will have instant access to a robust set of mobile app features offered by the Eventus platform. In just a few simple steps, career services teams can quickly set up apps from the comfort of Symplicity’s CSM. We look forward to working with Symplicity to bring mobile engagement for career services to the next level,” says Peter Feng, Eventus Head of Business Development.

JobKred is a career discovery platform that uses big data to provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding industries, careers, jobs and skills requirements. This information is used to provide job market information to students on-demand and also to provide skills learning and career recommendations using JobKred’s proprietary matching algorithm. Students and career services utilize JobKred’s AI-powered Skills Profiling Report to assess the student's key skill sets, match their skills to industry requirements, and generate a learning pathway to close their skills gaps, thus empowering students to self-discover the best fit careers for their skills and interests.

"JobKred is excited to partner with Symplicity in providing our AI-powered career guidance solutions to Symplicity’s global network. With JobKred’s focus on intelligent career development insights for students and alumni, our partnership will help enhance the value proposition for both companies and improve the effectiveness of both platforms,” says Gary Gan, CEO at JobKred.

Mentat uses the power of artificial intelligence to get students and alumni jobs ten times faster and supercharges career services with data. Mentat’s A.I. technology can help institutions enrich their alumni database with the latest career, contact, social media and affinity information; enable their students and alumni to directly pitch themselves to hiring managers and recruiters at thousands of target companies; and measure and improve student job search behavior automatically across all platforms, regardless of source (e.g., number of applications filed, networking activity, interview rate, job offers and placement rates).

“Mentat is bringing artificial intelligence technology to universities for the first time, enabling students and alumni to get jobs 10x faster through networking and super-charging career services with data like never possible before. We're excited to announce our partnership with Symplicity, which will let partner institutions deploy A.I. capabilities at the click of a button. Our collective solution will enable us to drive powerful results for university leaders on employability and engagement and provide a more seamless experience for student and alumni job-seekers,” says Saad Rizvi, Co-Founder and CEO of Mentat.

Suitable helps universities improve their co-curricular programming by engaging more students and automating tracking processes, saving schools time. On Suitable, students can earn points and custom digital badges (designed by their university.) Top students and student groups are recognized on campus leaderboards. Schools identify a set of core competencies for their program, and Suitable tracks every student’s development in each competency area. Students earn points by checking into events using Suitable’s mobile app, uploading documents, submitting reflections or by completing Qualtrics surveys.

“Our goal at Suitable is to help colleges track and assess their career readiness programs while enabling students to tell their unique story to potential employers. Our partnership with Symplicity will create integration opportunities at our partner schools that make the student experience more connected and comprehensive,” says Sean Carson, VP of University Partnerships at Suitable.

The Fairs App is a web and phone app event guide for career fairs, expos, grad school fairs, panel events and more. The app allows users to save time, money and paper by publishing fair guides digitally with easy-to-use publishing tools.

“The Fairs App is excited to be partnering with Symplicity! This new collaboration, which provides a seamless transfer of event info, is going to help take the career events experience to a whole new level!” says Kevin Flint, Vice President of Client Relations at The Fairs App.
