What We’ve Learned at EDUCAUSE 2014

 In Announcements, Career Services, Events

The biggest higher-ed tech conference of the year is going on now in Orlando. Here are some bits of what we’ve learned on day 2.

1. It’s all about data, data, data. Higher-ed tech admins everywhere are trying to figure out the most effective ways to harness tech to easily access and use data. Stop by our booths 1050 & 1052 to hear how our platforms for student affairs help more than 1,500 departments worldwide collect various student data and outcomes.

2. October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month. To help you celebrate, Educause has a ton of security sessions, dealing with security, compliance, privacy and risk management.

3. Can’t make it? You can still watch some sessions. Webcasts, exclusive online sessions, recordings, even a photo hunt! Browse and select your sessions here

4. #EDU14. The Twitterverse is blowing up with the official hashtag, and there’s lots of good content to be found here. Below are just some of our favorites so far.
