COVID-19's impact on every aspect of our lives will continue to have rippled effects well into a post COVID-19 world. Yet, the initial economic downturn is slowly seeing a recovery to pre-pandemic levels, according to Symplicity's 2021 Job Trends Report. While growth in industries has shifted, Symplicity seeing positive trends in its Career Services Manager (CSM), the largest employability platform. With a network of over 1,000 university partners, Symplicity aggregated data across all CSM platforms in the U.S. providing an overview of job trends within the last year and a half. As of April 2021, companies are hiring and looking for early talent to fill roles in a variety of industries including information technology, finance, healthcare, and engineering to name a few.

Methodology:
Symplicity gathered this data from the CSM platform with over 1,000 university partners to identify job trends based on job postings, job applications, sector, industry and year-to-year comparisons between January 2019 - April 2021.
