As the Marketing Events Manager at Symplicity, CSM Symposium has become one of the events that I most look forward to on our calendar. Each year, I’ve enjoyed meeting our clients, watching presentations come to life, and catching up at our client appreciation party, whether it be in New Orleans, D.C., Orlando, or Palm Springs. It’s not an overstatement to say I’ve been looking forward to another year with you all.
However, the reality of our world has brought unprecedented levels of uncertainty that force us to rethink our original plan.
That said, the entire CSM Symposium planning team shares in Symplicity’s overall commitment to provide you with the tools and resources you need to succeed. We stand by this even more now as we are all working in completely new environments and adapting to a new reality.
With the current situation, we want to take this opportunity to address some questions we’ve been getting about CSM Symposium ’20 as well as invite you to provide your feedback and join the conversation.
First and foremost, we’re continuing to monitor the effects of COVID-19 and use that information as we plan for the future of CSM Symposium ’20. While committed to our goal, we are also steadfast in our pursuit of fulfilling it in the safest way possible.
Now to address some of the questions we’ve been receiving:
- Will CSM Symposium ’20 still take place?
- Yes.
- Will there be any changes?
- Yes. While we’re still working out the details, rest assured that this will be an event unlike any CSM Symposium before it.
- When will you announce the new details and registration information?
- ASAP (which looks a lot like early May). Once we’re ready to relaunch the event, we’ll send another email update to all clients, along with posting updates on our Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook accounts, as well as an update in the CSM newsletter.
As I mentioned before, we want you to be part of the conversation! Now more than ever, your input is crucial to planning this event. We are all going through this together, and we want to make sure your voice is heard in order to make this year’s CSM Symposium as valuable as possible. We’ve created a quick survey to make it easier to share your opinions, requests, and any other feedback you think we should hear.
If you’d rather submit your feedback or any other comments via email, you can reach me at ajordan@symplicity.com.
Though the situation with COVID-19 has forced us to revisit our original plans, we see this as an opportunity to try something new, have a larger reach, and deliver timely support in a way that is unmatched by any of our previous events.
As I stated before, we’re all in this together and despite these times of crisis, we look forward to another opportunity to connect, share, and grow together. We can’t wait for you to see what’s in store.
