This web application is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA and AAA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
When a staff member user relies on a screen reader, some autocomplete fields do not provide clear feedback to screen reader users. To work around this, impacted users can read back elements on the page to confirm their selection.
When an administrator sets an availability schedule, the daily schedule form inputs are not clearly labeled for screen readers. To work around this, impacted users may need to read the nearby page context to identify the purpose of these fields.
In rare scenarios, system configuration can lead to certain multiple select inputs do may ignore TAB key events. To work around this, impacted users can utilize alternative page navigation tools provided by assistive technologies.
We have prioritized these accessibility improvements and expect to remediate them in the near term. Usually, we make accessibility improvements very quickly. Some improvements are complex and require more time for planning, development and testing.
We have not identified any content that is not within the scope of the accessibility regulations.
This web application is typically reviewed several times per year by independent groups. Symplicity contracts a third-party accessibility evaluator to conduct manual testing with multiple browsers and screen readers once per year. Additionally, Symplicity's internal accessibility specialists also regularly consult with the product management team to prioritize improvements. Finally, Symplicity's client partners submit the results of evaluations performed by their accessibility teams.
Accessibility is a consideration at every stage of our process. Accessibility training is required for every designer and developer who works on the user interface. Automated and manual evaluations are performed throughout the design, development, and quality assurance process. Manual evaluations are further performed on a regular basis, and issues found are scheduled for remediation by the development team. Accessibility issues are assigned a high priority and are usually remediated in a timely manner.
Our VPAT and accessibility roadmap documents are available upon to our current and prospective clients upon request.
